• Lead Faculty in the School of Sports and Exercise Medicine in rendering weekly
community services on Sports Performance Optimization (SPO) Services to
Ghana Juvenile/Junior Boxers Technical Crew in Accra on the under an MoU with
the Ghana Boxing Association/ Federation. The baseline anthropometric
measurements of the Juvenile/Junior Boxers have been documented and
preliminary report to inform the Sports Performance Optimization strategies to
be deployed at the Physical-Physiological, Psychological as well as nutritional
levels of the services are being compiled.
• Rendered Cyber Psychological Services to the Badminton Federation of Ghana
in the run down to the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games


FUNDS ATTRACTION
Grants
The mtDNA performance research which I initiated with my Ph.D candidate now Dr. Vincent
Onywera cut the attention of another Researcher in Scotland who collaborated with our team
in Kenya to secure Research grants from Corporate Bodies in the United Kingdom. The same
Team was invited to Nigeria to carry out same activity and all the equipment brought in for the
exercise were donated to the Department of Sports Sciences & Health Education, Olabisi
Onabanjo University (O.O.U), at my instance.
Academic Travel Grants
I facilitated the first Visit to Nigeria of Professor Craig Mahoney, the Chief Executive of the
Higher Education Academy of the United Kingdom to Nigeria in the year 2011 to deliver the
Distinguished Scholars Lecture Series of the Faculty of Education, Olabisi Onabanjo
University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, Nigeria. The positive consequence of the visit was the
award of travel grants to five members of the same Faculty in the year 2012.
Specific Services to Local, National and International Communities (with dates,
institutions/establishments and status);
1. Provided Psychological Services to the U- 20 National Soccer Team, Flying Eagles of
Nigeria As Team Psychologist during the 13 months preparation for the 5th FIFA Junior
World Cup in the Liberty Stadium Camp in Ibadan, as well as, in Riyad, Dammam, Jiddah
in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, all between October 1987 to March 1989.
2. Initiated the Ogun State of Nigeria Tertiary Institutions Games Invitational Sports
Carnival in 1993.
3. Provided Psychological Services to the Kenya National Team, the Harambee Stars as
Consultant Team Psychologist during preparation for the 2004 African Nation’s Cup
(2004)
4. Facilitated International Sports Science and Coaching Clinic in collaboration with the
University of Glasgow, Scotland for all Nigeria Sports Coaches in my capacity as the
Consultant to the Ogun State government on Sports (January 2005)
5. Prepared the blue print for the implementation of the private sector driven 15th
National Sports Festival, the Gateway Games 2006 in my capacity as the Consultant to
the Ogun State Government on Sports and Secretary-General/Chief Operating Officer
of the Games (August 2004)
